Perhaps on some days you can even Bike or Roller blade to work

Alternative Transportation is feasible

Less reliant on the Automobile and fossil fuels for traveling.

These areas do get poor marks on Light pollution but your future project can be less bright.

It would be nice to see the Stars again without being 30 miles from a city.
